EINECS Description: An inorganic pigment that is the reaction product of high temperature calcination in wich copper oxides, silicon oxide and/or aluminium oxide in varying amounts are homogeneously and ionically interdiffused to Form a crystalline matrix of spinels. Its composition may include any one or a combination of the modifiers vanadium oxide, titanium oxide, antimony oxide, lead oxide, and alkali and alkaline earth oxides.

Colour Index Description: Copper Green is produced by high temperature calcination of a mixture of oxides of copper and silicon in varying amounts to Form a crystalline matrix.
